@badala: Thanks Badala, sometimes a photo just screams black and white ;)
Very calm and peaceful. Like the b&w choice very much, it gives a touch of poetry. Lovely.
@Manuela Photography: Poetry...that's music to my ear, thanks Manuela :)
I love the way the ducks (or are they Canada geese?) are walking out of the shade into the light & toward the lake!

Wow, can’t help but echo other dear friends here, this one is perfect, and especially so in b&w!! Marvellously idyllic tones permeating this beautiful composition, and those geese waddling in a row really crown this as art par excellence, dear lady!! Love it!!

@Rebecca: You are the positive side of the 'critic' LOL, wow you write so well. Thanks always for your visit sweet Rebecca :)
Brrr...I feel the crispness of winter approaching without even seeing a snow yet. A sunny cold day...marvelous...even in B&W you can feel it...can't stand grey clouds...give me clear sky every time. Looks like the ducks are enjoying a walk
24 Oct 2007 3:32pm
@Jasp: I love snow, I love storms, I love clouds, I'm moody...Thanks Rich, are you looking forward to my blizzard photos LOL
well miss, we don't see much black and white! You should post more....lovely

@Stunner: Hey Stunner, good to see you and thanks for dropping in :)
Love it - beautiful overall, but I think the birds really make the shot, especially in shadow as they are!
24 Oct 2007 7:49pm
@Walt: Hey Walt, don't they though, they really add a nice little touch :) and I take no credit for it either, I thought I saw something at the bottom that was moving so I took it just in case LOL (I'm half blind)
That little flock of waterfowl (ducks/geese?) strolling into the pic from the left side just helps make this a really super capture.
24 Oct 2007 8:12pm
@Viewfinder: Geese and not to my credit Vf, I can't see a thing unless it's at my feet, but I did sense movement so I kept it in the photo, just in case, good call, hey LOL
The B&W makes this whole picture so peaceful and calm. Probably the ducks were making lots of noises, but hey this is why pictures are so great, you get to mute out what you don't want to hear.

@rainsocks: Hey sweet, I don't recall, see when I take a photo I lose all sense of myself and environment, is it any wonder I love photography so much :)
