Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaThis is lovely, Lorraine. The little entrance on the right is an invitation to walk round the ruin. History seeps out of the cracks between the stones. 7 Jan 2008 6:24am @Michael Skorulski: You spotted it Michael, I love that little entrance and yes it's full of history indeed. Not in Canada ;) Janice Thomson from CanadaIs this an old church Lorraine? Love the old brickwork. I'm just getting around scanning old pre-digital, 35mm film...I loved Spain! Thanks a lot! Wolfgang Prigge from CanadaAvant de lire vos reponses je me disait que c'était sur une ile greque, mais l'Espagne c'est just de l'autre côté de la Méditerranée, très belle photo! 7 Jan 2008 2:21pm @Wolfgang Prigge: Merci beaucoup Wolfgang, ah oui c'est merveilleux lol j'ai bien aimé mes 3 semaines...(en 1980) c'est comme si c'était hier :) Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanIF...the ruins could speak.....I always ask myself this question when I'm faced by some....People are curious, you know, and it is rather thrilling to touch the stones that have been touched by so many before you! And...it turns creepy to think that these same stones might be touched by other hands 100, 200...500 years from now...and I'll no longer be here! Ruins face me with my own mortality and it is not a contsructive way of thinking right now...as I'm ready to go to bed. 7 Jan 2008 3:32pm @Japanalia: If they could...of course we wouldn't understand their language, unless you were previously a Spaniard, or wherever a tourist came from. I love old ruins, they speak to me. I'm not afraid of death, I'm a bit weary of dying though...ewww...Anyhoo, the Soul can't die...so sweet dreams Gabriela ;) @laughingwolf: At the very least, thanks a lot Wolf :) @Reza: Thanks a lot Reza. I appreciate it :) Laurent from Lyon, Francetrès belle ruine, 7 Jan 2008 7:51pm @Laurent: Merci beaucoup Laurent, c'est incroyable comme l'histoire nous touche...as-tu une idée de l'age?
