I saw the title and looked directly into the frozen water...then I adjusted my focus!So...the canoes are taking a long nap under their coats of snow...but they are in an embrace and don't feel the cold, for sure! I envy you the snow....wish we had some,too! It would most certainly change the view outside the windows. For the time being everything looks grey and drab!
Yes...and keep away from the water, it doesn't look that hard frozen!

Nice! This evokes the summer gone by and the winter we (you) are in. The little burst of color from the canoe in the otherwise monochromatic image is really nice. Nice composition tobooot! well done.

I've got my fingers crossed that I should be back Monday, Hubby hurt his back last week! he went back to work today soooo I hope this is the end of all our ills for this year. :)

Wow, that is heaps of snow, a good alternative perspective, of the not-so-pretty side of snow. Somehow, I feel with the two canoes.... Hopefully they’ll still be well whole and strong to go out happily on the water again when warmer and brighter days are here again. :)

I have returned to this image several times over the last few days because it interests me so. It's like a story is sleeping here with the canoes waiting spring to awaken. A haunting image.
