Tali from Serendipity, United StatesThank You!! And what a lovely romantic shot! I wish I could see that out my window as I snuggled by a fire in a fireplace! Beautiful winter shot! 19 Jan 2008 9:38am @Tali: Nicely put Tali, unfortunately to get snowy beauty, you have to leave the warmth of the house...OR you can visit ME ;) @Craiger: Thanks a lot Craiger ;) MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomNarnia! that's what it reminds me of :) 19 Jan 2008 11:43am @MaryB: oooo Narnia, I have to check out that film, you're the third person who tells me that (well, not today, but...) Thanks so much ;) Betty from New Jersey, United StatesLorraine, beautiful snow shot! Thanks for the translation offer -- did you know it is possible to google in free brief translations as well? This is a fabulous winter scene. Did you know us beach/coastal types do long for this kind of stuff (in moderation) even as we enjoy life in the tropics? 19 Jan 2008 12:12pm @Viewfinder: ahh So sweet of you Vf, but it would be 'ma chérie' as I am a woman .....I know all the FREE translations available on the internet, and let me put it this way: " You Get What you Pay for" :) [terrorkitten] from Bath, United Kingdomwow...amazing Lorraine. Big puffy flakes giving way to cool blue winter blankets of snow. Nice. p.s.: That wierd triangular photo of mine is a stealth bomber, a massive u.s. warplane designed to evade radar. The thin lines at the trailing edges are the gaps between the wing flaps. 19 Jan 2008 2:09pm @Dean Francis: Really, Holy Cow Dean, I never would have guessed, great image of it ,...and thanks a lot for your comment :) mj from United StatesAnother great shot ......a winter wonderland.... How charming are you LOL Thanks so much! Mm...snow. in you area. Oh Boy!!! ;) Rebecca from Leicester, United KingdomI agree with Judy. This definitely evokes Narnia for me, and I absolutely love that.
