Yet the question kind of then becomes, how in the world did you do this? 12 Feb 2008 6:25am @e.: Glad you like it e., mmm if I'm not mistaken it's a strong wind motion, or maybe a polar move? can't remember as I had prepared that for New Year's Eve, but then thought it was a little gory for the occasion ;) Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaLooks like an excellent pen and ink illustration. Super effect, Lorraine. 12 Feb 2008 6:52am @Michael Skorulski: Hey Thanks a lot Michael, it wasn't pen, I can't remember, but I liked the effect ;) Hans from Heiligeneich, Austriabreathtaking, i am happy to look your photos, better and better, creativ and varied!!!! 12 Feb 2008 8:55am @Hans: What a lovely compliment, thanks a lot Hans :) @eddy: Hi Eddy, thanks very much :) @Helma: Thanks a lot Helma :) T-Daddy from Dachsbach, nähe Erlangen, GermanyOhhhhhhhhhhhh Lorraine, this is Modern Art. 12 Feb 2008 11:05am @T-Daddy: Hey, thanks a lot T-Daddy, it's nice to have you back :) Betty from New Jersey, United StatesThis is a great composition, Lorraine! I'd be very concerned! On the other hand.....I wonder...did you dream of William Blake? And I water'd it in fears, And it grew both day and night, And into my garden stole Don't tell me you worked THIS with Picassa?????? 12 Feb 2008 12:36pm @Japanalia: Oooo I like, no nothing that sophisticated, I was thinking more of you know the way a bottle will implose when it's frozen ;) lol thanks Mlle G. :) Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesVery nice, Lorraine. I like the way the processing is strongest at the left and right edges and as you move upward in the shot there's a bit more of the original detail. 12 Feb 2008 12:37pm @Ron: How nice, thanks a lot Ron :) @Ina: Thanks Ina :) MJ from Delaware, United Statesreminds me of a picture drawing in the beginning of a mystery book... nice work 12 Feb 2008 1:54pm @MJ: Thanks so much MJ, it's a lovely compliment :) alex centrella from fresno, United Statesnice work, glad to see photographers on this site are expanding more w/ creativity. 12 Feb 2008 2:49pm @alex centrella: That's nice Alex, and believe me when I say that there are many more creative photographers in am-3 amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaI'm liking this A LOT!! Fantastic effect and the perfect image for it. I'm pretty sure it's the wind filter... says the annoying Know-it-all.. LOL!! 12 Feb 2008 4:49pm @amy: You smart cookie you ;) wind and something else...thanks so much Amy! @malahat: Thanks so much Malahat, I appreciate your visit :) @badala: What a nice thing to say, thanks a lot Badala :) the lightwriter from oosterwolde, NetherlandsGreat reflections!! (of your mind?) 12 Feb 2008 5:59pm @the lightwriter: A little too close for comfort LOL Thanks a lot Lw :) Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsWonderful, beautiful wall carpet, the stripe in the texture suggest something woven. I like the dark grey and red very much and I can imagine Japanalia being inspired to quote a poem by William Blake! The trees also remind of Blake's art work, very romantic and full of vigor! I recommend more of these pictures. Isn't it kind of serendipty, letting a bottle implode and see how poetic the result is :)? 12 Feb 2008 6:51pm @Illuci: Lovely comment, you have a way with words Erik, the imploding bottle was just an example I was citing to show that the inspiration wasn't as sophisticated as Gabriela's (j.) comment. It was originally a sunset ;) @Ras: I like that Ras, thanks a lot ;) @Stunner: Thanks so much Stunner :) Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaThat is gorgeous. It would make a great print to hang. 13 Feb 2008 3:21am @Michael Rawluk: How nice, thanks a lot Michael :) Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesA really visually powerful image Lorraine; sorry I missed it yesterday I was out most of the day and into the evening. 13 Feb 2008 12:53pm @Viewfinder: Glad you enjoyed it Vf...no apologies ever necessary ;) Barbara from Florida, United StatesLove it! When I was young I worked with pen, ink and watercolor nothing looked as beautiful as this. This one is exceptional Lorraine. 13 Feb 2008 2:08pm @Barbara: How very nice of you Barbara, thanks a lot :) @Porcsin: Thanks a lot Porcsin, I appreciate it :) |
