@martie: You got it sweetie ;) Thanks!
Great shot, Lorraine. I get a kick out of that trailer shed. Fishing must be really good where you live.
2 Mar 2008 4:51am
@Michael Skorulski: LOL amazing shack isn't it? Thanks a lot Michael, I think it's more for sport, I don't think the water is pure enough for fodder :)
Great shot, Lorraine. Love how the DOF just fades off into a blue/gray/white and your title is perfect!
2 Mar 2008 5:53am
@Ron: Thanks a lot Ron, seems to me the Ice is endless :)
What did they do to the trailer??
2 Mar 2008 6:02am
@Daroru: Great question Daroru, maybe winterized it? lol
Decisions, decisions! Where do you think the fish are? Great shot, Lorraine. Is it snowing again?
2 Mar 2008 6:22am
@Betty: Exactly Betty, my decision-process making goes like this: To Got Out, Or To Not to ;) It's stopped snowing to make way for minus 20, but now it's warming up to make way for freezing rain, and I kindyou not lol
Looks a tad bit cold for camping! Nice shot!
2 Mar 2008 7:15am
@Craiger: Oh, it is Craig, they're nuts...that's all there is to it or they're brave souls, you know...;)

I like how you framed this Lorraine and how you included the bench. That is some ice shanty creation. Have you seen the new blog watch feature using the eye icon to the right of your photo?
2 Mar 2008 9:38am
@Barbara: Thanks a lot Barbara, isn't it though lol no, I have to keep an eye (no pun intented) out for features, it just takes me so long to visit everyone I want to visit that i don't make the time...I will though, thanks for the notice ;)
ice fishing? - i prefer ice(cream) eating...
@kurt: I'm with you there Kurt lol
I too like how there's no defining horizon yet in all that space they chose to be only a few feet from shore LOL Perfect title for this one mon amie.

I never could get into ice fishing. Did it as a kid and standing around freezing your butt just isn't as much fun as it looks.
2 Mar 2008 11:39am
@Michael Rawluk: Hey Michael, I can't even get into summer fishing, but I sure loving taking photos of those who do ;)
Nothing like some good ole' ice fishing on the forzen Ottawa river. I remember seeing those guys every winter while I lived there.
2 Mar 2008 11:48am
@bm: lol thanks bm, I just hope they keep on doing it, and I'll keep on shooting them :)

Lorraine, ice fishing is Greek to M.E. nevertheless it is a your "ok that's a good spot" is a great shot! (ice fishing or not...)
2 Mar 2008 11:24pm
@Photographs by M.E.: Lovely comment M.E. thank you, right now, right this moment, I totally wish it were Greek to me to ;)
I am sure they are talking about where they should go for dinner instead of waiting around for the fish to bite. Of course the plus is that they don't have a problem keeping the beer cold. :-) Nice shot.
3 Mar 2008 12:15am
@Bonj: You are a very wise person, my bet is they're heading for McDonald's ;) thanks a lot!
I must say.....those two are addicts!!! Otherwise.....why stand on the ice for hours just to get some miserable fish?! Even fishes stay put in winter!
3 Mar 2008 12:19am
@Japanalia: I personally don't have a clue, but I hope they keep on doing it, it makes great photos ;) Thanks a lot Gabriela...
