@saeed: Thanks a lot Saeed :) Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomI like the selective strokes of soft blurring you have used here, to me it creates a painterly feel to the colours in the sky. 15 Apr 2008 6:50am @Richard_Irwin: Except for softening it, didn't need more adjustment, the colours and the shape were really super, thanks so much Richard :) @e.: Thanks a lot e. the colours were unbelievable that morning :) @Rags: It was, thanks Rags :) @Ilnoir: Hey Nathaniel, but he left such powerful lines behind ;) Merci beaucoup! It's a beautiful image that started with a photo of a piece of sky, some trees and a electric line, I guess. From that you created an image that represent how you remember that occasion. 15 Apr 2008 1:14pm @António Pires: Wow, well put Antonio, thanks a lot :) Janice Thomson from Canadaoooh - that is awesome mon amie - LOVE the processing you did with this one! 15 Apr 2008 3:18pm @Janice Thomson: Thanks so much Janice, ah the opportunities of spring are rising, oh yeah Baby ;) Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesI love how the light is reflected off of the clouds! Well captured! 15 Apr 2008 4:19pm @Craig: Thanks so much Craig :) Barbara from Florida, United StatesOh Lorraine, This is fantastic. I love the softness, colors, and how it feels like a watercolor, then the etching in the sky gives it strength. A good laugh from llnor's comment about superman. One of your best indeed. 15 Apr 2008 4:37pm @Barbara: Oh nice wow what a lovely compliment, yes Nathanael always cracks me up, I also enjoyed Hans' Zoro lol @Ana Lúcia: Thanks a lot Ana L. glad you enjoy :) Michael Rawluk from Prince George, CanadaI usually hate seeing power lines cutting through shots but these are wonderful. I can't tell if it's a sunrise or a sunset but I always prefer sunsets personally....the colours always seem stronger and to last longer. 15 Apr 2008 10:06pm @Ian Bramham: Thanks so much Ian, I appreciate that...it's a sunrise :) lol, but you're right sunsets do last much longer. Within a few seconds a sunrise can change completely. martie from Okinawa, JapanOh Lorraine - this is fantastic! Such a vibrant sky! (Is subtle the s word maybe? - what about other aminus3 words such as great, beautiful, awesome etc. :), it's a challenge to find other words than the most usual ones. 17 Apr 2008 1:50pm @Illuci: No kidding and thanks so much Erik..S is for Snow ;) drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomThis is a really interesting shot from such a simple subject and a nice sky. The only thing that bothers me is the discrepancy betwenn the noise/grain in the blue parts of the sky and the smoothness of the softened parts. I would like to have seen the detail in the bottom left corner a little less softened and the upper part of the sky a little more softened. But I'm just being picky! Dan 18 Apr 2008 4:28pm Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaAHAH reversed? that' s a thought...good suggestion Dan, you have a good eye...also I'm moody LOL 19 Apr 2008 8:41am @mhaleph: Thanks a lot mhaleph :) Ras from Plano, United Stateswow. i dont know where to start, but I am awestruck. 22 Apr 2008 2:00am @Ras: Glad you enjoyed Ras, I appreciate it :) |
