Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaYou had a beautiful clear day for this shot. Look at those reflections!! This is a really great picture. I took pictures of ducks the other day ducking for food. I will post it for Sunday, but my picture was in a shaded area, so not nearly as clear and beautiful as this one. I love your title. 18 Apr 2008 6:11am @Marion: You're too modest, and thanks so much Marion ;) Mandy Provan from Johannesburg, South Africahahahaha - Brilliant title L! This is a really cute capture - brillaint timing to get them both "ducking" at the same time 18 Apr 2008 7:03am @Mandy Provan: I tell I'm full of surprises (make that luck) :) thanks so much Mandy! Yesterday I tried to shoot geese but my 10x optical zoom lens wasn't sufficient to catch them unnoticed, and they fled with their kids :(, and all I got was reeds with some vague goose shapes. There are a lot of beautiful water birds here but they are very shy except of course the common ducks. Thanks for your friendly comments! 18 Apr 2008 3:23pm @Illuci: That's such a nice compliment, thanks a lot Erik...ps I was very, very quiet ;) Janice Thomson from CanadaAwesome photo!
