@Hans: YES!!! hello Spring Thanks Hans :)
That looks really cold. Beautiful picture. We got 14 inches of snow overnight, but it is mostly gone today. What is with this weather anyway.

@Marion: Weird, isn't it? Hang in there Marion, it can't last much longer :)
Is this a happy picture because the ice is melting? From my very warm island it is so hard to imagine this type of scene. But you have captured it beautifully!!

Somewhere, in the heat of this coming summer, you may look back fondly on this ice/snow and wish for its return... or not. Happy for ya!

I like the low viewpoint, the good capture of the highlights and the careful alignment of the horizon. It's also a very attractive composition. You're obviously glad that it's going, though!

@Andrew Gould: Thanks a lot Andrew, I am thrilled, that is until the humid, hot, hot days arrive and I'll be wishing for snow lol (like Vf suggested)

At first glance I thought it was a shot of your ice filled glass while you were sitting on the back deck in your bathing suit soaking up the rays. But this is a good one too. I love the blue in the ice.
20 Apr 2008 4:43pm
