@Marion: She did, eventually ;) Thanks Marion! Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaWonderful. It makes me smile, Lorraine. There appears to be a certain fear on the part of the giver. 25 Apr 2008 5:39am @Michael Skorulski: You just never know when they'll snap ;) thanks a lot Michael! Mandy from Johannesburg, South AfricaI like the framing here, the lady giving the chip definitely looks a little fearful of her feathered visitor! :) Nice catch 25 Apr 2008 6:08am @Mandy: Thanks Mandy, they were both a little weary ;) ESTEVE from MAO, SpainCONFIANZA 25 Apr 2008 7:46am @ESTEVE: Confianza? un poco lol muchas graçias Esteve :) @Alun Lambert: thanks a lot Alun :) @Ana Lúcia: Thanks v. m. Great shot, B&W is perfect for the shot. 26 Apr 2008 4:28am @Barbara: I know I can't lol thanks a lot Barbara ;) @Hans: Thanks a lot Hans lol ;) Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsHere the geese and wild ducks are not that willing to approach so close! I think European birds are hunted more in France and Spain, in our country they are protected but they don't see difference between French and Dutch of course. "Fries" is in Dutch "inhabitant of Friesland" :), or "Friesian". Nice B&W capture with contrast between soft and vivid life (goose, woman), and dead and massive concrete (bench and table). 26 Apr 2008 10:52am @Illuci: Your comment is always so interesting, thanks a lot Erik, I appreciate that you take the time to really look at a photo :) @Scotfot: ...a pleasure to have you visit Bob, thanks a lot :) @yiannis krikis: I appreciate that Yiannis, thanks :) Janice Thomson from CanadaWhat a neat capture - wonder if the goose took it...reminds me of the commercial where the animal wanted ketchup too LOL 26 Apr 2008 3:59pm @Janice Thomson: I love ketchup...but not on my fries, on rice actually...how weird am I lol and YES he did right after she backed off, thanks always mon amie ;) @Ina: Yes indeed Ina, right after she moved back to her seat ;) drphoto from Newcastle upon Tyne, United KingdomI like the mutual apprehesnsion going on here =D) And whats this about ketchup on rice?!! lol Dan 4 May 2008 4:19pm |
