It has such a vivid look to it. I must admit, though, that I don't really care for the tree dividing the photo in halves, but that's just me, and I would still rate this as a highly successful image. 15 May 2008 12:52pm @Andrew Gould: thanks a lot Andrew, I appreciate your comment very much, I gotta tell you though that I loved the tree in the middle, call me weird ;) António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalThe background has a pattern formed by vertical lines, at right angle to the lines of green leaves, the schist stones, the lines of red tulips and the green grass in the fg. The definition is great. The non-uniformity and the colour of the wooden wall enriches the image. So, it's much more than a group of red tulips. 15 May 2008 12:58pm @António Pires: Wow, I'm not sure I deserve such an outstanding review of this photo, considering that this shot takes itself it's so perfect, but thank you very much :) @Cheryl: Thanks a lot Cheryl ;) @Daroru: Glad you enjoyed it Daroru :) vu@granby - Wolfgang from CanadaUn concours de beauté entre tulipes et piss-en-lits, bravo! 15 May 2008 2:16pm @vu@granby - Wolfgang: lol et chacune apporte sa propre beauté, merci bien Wolfgang :) Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanThis is more than pretty, it is most painterly! Bien vu. 15 May 2008 9:46pm @Evelyne Dubos: Merci beaucoup Evelyne :) Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomI like the symmetry & formality of this shot, and the red of the tulips is striking against the background. 15 May 2008 10:14pm @Richard_Irwin: Thanks a lot Richard, like I keep on saying, this is not to my credit, it takes itself,it was so vibrant.
