Yes, the livin is easy. But I don't see any fish jumpin. I'm a great Janis Joplin fan! A great relaxing pic, Lorraine!

@Michael Skorulski: Thanks so much Michael, I was also alluding to the fact that the dad looking after the kids while mom sunbathes isn't a usual site lol
oh lorraine, makes me feel like holiday....but i must work, work, work.... working nine to five ;-(

@Hans: Poor Hans, I'll relax for you ok :)

Ahhhh! sunshine, sea, sand and sunbathing. I could really do with some of that right now. Fabulous summer shot Lorraine. We are up to our neck in wind and driving rain atm, the perfect English summer weather lol.

6 Jul 2008 6:18am
@Observing: lol thanks a lot Mike, believe me it won't take long for that dreamer to wake up, sooner or later the kids will need mom for something :0
Nice processing on the dreaming part, Lorraine. It looks very relaxing to me.
6 Jul 2008 6:29am
@Behrooz Sangani: Thanks so much Behrooz :)
Wish I was there! Well done, Lorraine!
6 Jul 2008 7:01am
@Betty: Then So you Be, there that is lol it's also a dream for her, 'cause if those are her kids by the water even if their dad is looking after them, it won't take long before that oh so familiar 'Mommmmmmmm' breaks the dream lol
Terrific work, I wish we were having a summer - it seems to have been wind and rain since beginning of june !! - the selective blurring carries us to the sun bather and reminds me that summer should be about relaxing and sunshine.
6 Jul 2008 7:04am
@Richard_Irwin: Sorry to hear that Richard, the sun is so needed, and beautiful days lift us up scattering worries and such stuff...Hope it comes soon and thanks so much :)
I like your musings, you talented lady! Great summer shot ... hope she's wearing her sunscreen! ;p
6 Jul 2008 7:32am
@Judy: thanks so much Judy, one can hope although the good news is that the sun is very good for you, if you don't exaggerate...you know vitamin D, etc....;)
A really interesting combination of elements, Lorraine. Very original.
@Andrew Gould: I appreciate the compliment Andrew and your advice, always :)
nice compositon Lorraine! looks like mom is flipping off dad and kids :-)) LOL... love the soft focus work!!
6 Jul 2008 8:00am
@Cheryl: LOL it looked that way to me too Cheryl, that's why I called it a summer dream, we know it won't last lol
Love the thought and idea behind this. The soft focus and angle are wonderful. Think I'll just tiptoe past and dip my feet in the water...
6 Jul 2008 8:24am
@Janice Thomson: At least once this year, I will do it, I love swimming but I never get around to it, 'cause I find myself captivated by something or another and taking photos....I'd have to leave my camera at home and well, I can't do it lol thanks so much!
Nicely how you made her the focal point, a little break while the others play.
6 Jul 2008 9:41am
@JoeB: Yep a misleading focal point, since a mom's work is never done....It's my photo and I'll assume she's the mom if I want to lol thanks a lot Joe ;)
A dream I hope soon to be realized. That time off.
6 Jul 2008 9:51am
@Ras: I hope it's soon, we all need rest, well except for me, I'm retired lol Not that I meant to brag or anything awww all that sun ;)
