Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, CanadaThat is a wonderful shot. I love the smile. 11 Jul 2008 5:09am @Michael Rawluk: Thanks a lot Michael, it was a great smile....read other responses and you'll know why! I'd tell you but you didn't enquire ;) Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaI hope she had the wonderful smile as she passed over a coffee and donut. I've done the same myself when without funds or when financially embarrassed. Great one, Lorraine! 11 Jul 2008 5:40am @Michael Skorulski: She did, you see I noticed a new hairdo but couldn't get a photo and I have a Horton Card and money on it, but their machine wasn't working, and I wanted my toasts and my coffee and a photo of the new haircut, so I told the poor 'new' girl there, that I would pay later, when she hesitated I asked to speak to the Manager...lol I don't know what the girl told her, poor thing, but as soon as the manager saw me she started laughing, and told the "NEW" girl it was okay, I could pay later :) So I shot her. So tthat's my story and I'm sticking to it :) Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaThis has to be a Tim Hortons...she obviously found you funny, money or no money!!! 11 Jul 2008 5:53am @Marion: It is, you also know me well, as did the manager and she laughed 'cause she knew I did it to sneak a photo...sides their machine was down, and I didn't bring cash lol thanks so much! @GJC: Thanks so much GJC for the FULL story see my response to Michael ;) Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanYou live in a world apart, Lorraine! Such a treatment is unheard of here, in Japan, "in our era"! No money, no shopping!" But this photo is a great natural shot. 11 Jul 2008 8:00am @Observing: NO such thing...Mike, see my complete response to Michael for the full story, IF you DARE ;) António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalCan you pay with a print? In exchange you'd have coffee free for one year. 11 Jul 2008 9:23am @António Pires: Wow Antonio this is high praise, hell I'd settle for 1 coffee...mmm....love my coffee lol thanks so much! Betty from New Jersey, United StatesWow, that's unheard of here! No money - no service! That's great! I love it! Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United StatesThey finally got to meet the lady who drives by the back door taking photos and this time... she has no cash... hehehe... great shot though... as she quickly hands you the donut and says "Forget the cash and keep away from the back door!"... take care 11 Jul 2008 11:55am @Fliss: I want to know why do you and everyone else assume I asked for donuts, it was, if you must know, whole wheat toast burnt outside tender inside, tons of butter and a little square of peanut butter, and coffee...goes without saying LOL ;) Thanks so much! Janice Thomson from CanadaBeing that you're Timmy's best customer I can see why the manager was smiling LOL. What a great portraiture. Love the B&W. 11 Jul 2008 11:56am @Janice Thomson: It's more like 'Oh it's You lol' I don't know what it is....anyhoo I went back after my toast and coffee and I paid, 'cause I'm a good customer ;) JoeB from Brampton, CanadaMan your lucky you didn't get kicked out or arrested, but it seems you have a tab at Timmy's. i would like to go across Canada and shoot at all their stores. 11 Jul 2008 1:25pm @JoeB: Hey watch how you put that Joe, you wouldn't want a BOL bulletin on you ;) AND they have Tim Horton's card where you can put money in until you run out, I had a fresh 20 in, but the machine didn't work, that's why I had no cash. My son got me a card with cash in it for my birthday, talk about a sweetie, and obviously knows me WELL I was in caffeine heaven ;) Thanks sweet Judy! Illuci from Hurdegaryp, NetherlandsWell, I read about the story, I remember that I purchased a bottle of wine in a wine store but couldn't get it with me although I had cash on the table because their bar code reading machine was out of order, bureaucracy! If I lived in your neighborhood I would become a frequent customer at their coffeeshop, but I think Janine would join me every time if she knew what manager runs the place there ;), she is gorgeous! Great photo! 11 Jul 2008 3:08pm @Illuci: LOL great comment Erik, and she is gorgeous, and very modest... it's a lovely place thanks a lot! @Daryl: Little towns, big sharing, thanks so much Daryl :) laughingwolf from Canadalarge french vanilla for me, svp :) lol nothing like a happy manager! 11 Jul 2008 7:00pm @laughingwolf: Very true :) Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesThe poor "NEW" girl just wanted to quietly take your money and put it in the till!
