I love the colour combo and summery feel to this shot Lorraine, blue and orange a big favourite of mine :) This guy and his boat look like they're ready to take off from the lake! "To infinity and beyond!" :D

Great colors. Those different blues create a wonderful scenery that is broken by the red of man's lifejacket. Nice shot!

@Betty: Yep he started leaving when he saw me taking photos...lol serves him right the waves got my pants wet as I was in the water at the time trying to photograph my "Treasure Island" ;)

Look at all that blue! The sky and the water are just gorgeous. So soothing and calming. The boat's position in the water adds a bit of tension as it seems to be riding the nose so high! I am worried he may flip!! I also like the wake behind the boat in contrast to the smoothness of the rest of the water!

How can he afford the gas? LOL! Lovely scene. Little techy thing: Have you heard of Dfine noise reduction? Fix that sky right up! You can download a trial for 30 days for free. It's wonderful and easy to use which is a major consideration for me.

@MontereyJohn: Wow noise reduction in a photo, that'd be so cool then you wouldn't hear the motor, hum....sorry couldn't resist ...there is a noise reduction in photoshop, is my sky busy didn't even notice...Thanks for the tip John, I will check it out :)

Hardly a wake on this calm and pristine waterway.
Excellent capture Lorraine. I love the vibrant red and reflection in the water and the peacefulness of the image.
Perhaps whoever made that comment is getting noise from that outboard motor. : )

@Cool Daddio: He did, and got me wet, as I was waddling in the water taking my Treasure Island photo (last week's, I think) but i forgive easy when I get a photo out of it...plus the water was soooo nice. If I hadn't had equipment with me, I would have just dove in, clothes and all ;) Thanks for the visit J.

@tyan: You pretty little romantic girl, gosh he's my son's age more or less lol no he was making waves in the river. I was in the water, shooting my Treasure Island photos...but ahhh the water was so lovely...ahh I want to go swimming, I love swimming, but I cannot, not bring my camera...and well it would be foolish to just leave it there and hope nobody takes it, you know ! Thanks a lot!
