@Michael Skorulski: Oh Michael! I knew someone would bring it up! Do you have any idea how long it took me to make up my mind which photo to post, of course he was smoking lol this photo had its long silhouette and was a better image. The other wasn't as good quality, not as clear, but you could see the smoke from the cigarette forming a circle, I went back and forth...posted one than the other, then settled for this one...crap now I'm not sure again, BUT HEY thanks so much lol arrrrtghhh
When I'm on my laptop (cause that's where the photos are, Imight put them side by side) but I don't want to lose my comments, so we'll see if I can do it)

Nice image. The smoke acts as a sort of pre-processing noise.

he looks like he has a cigarette in hand! that smoke almost looks like steam coming off the hot pavement after someone hosed it down with water...nice effect in image

Who is artistic? This is a remarkable image. There is emotion here as if the man is trying to figure out life, there is a sadness. I love the light edging the frame of his body and the long shadow. Immediately seeing the image I thought of it as a man with a cigarette.

Is it smoke or morning mist? The long shadow he casts is very dramatic that's as technical that I'm going to get this morning.

Smoke or dust? It's hard to identify what this person is standing on. Looks a bit like a raised grassy/dusty spot on a lawn. This excellent image has something of a sci-fi feel to it.

Excellent. I think I can see him holding a cigarette in his left hand. You know that pause before he takes another puff. (no I'm not a smoker, but I'm married to one and sometimes I watch out the window to see him do his silly thing). I think this guy is looking at all the smoke and thinking "I did this?"

Wicked B&W shot Lorraine, the water vapour (I think!) gives it a really aged feel, and it's a great pose!

Well... quite a few comments about cigarettes and smoking, but I think the smoke is caused by Lorraine burning the burgers on the bbq. Very good finish to the image.

I don't think that there was fog because of the sun and strong shadows. Your title says smoke so I suppose that something is burning, may be some grass?
