'You Say TO-MA-TO, I say What?'

I don't have a green thumb. Never did. I love tomatoes. But I dont do tomatoes, I mean in the sense of digging deep and planting. I noticed something was growing in my garden, but you know I ignored it. Until- I imagine out of sheer frustration- my neighbour spoke up and gave a hint. "So you're growing tomatoes?" "I am?" I said. Being particularly dense that day, after this marvy, insightful comment, I left. A few days later when I brushed the cobweb of this so-called intelligent mind, it hit me. So I thanked him. He told me then with his nice smile that I'd need to buy some baskets for my tomatoes. Didn't really see the need, I mean I can put them in a bowl when they're grown. He smiled, because he's beginning to know me and explained what 'baskets' were for. I grinned, because I didn't really totally capture my ignorance and bought some.
Then of course I, hum, installed them, that is kind of dug in the ground to make it stayed put. Something felt wrong. So being inquisitive I crossed over to my neighbour's garden and looked at the baskets. Hum, I get it, so I dug them out to put it right end up, which is smart seeing on how those little spikes at the end can ground them. Aren't tomatoes a miracle? Hum...I had a tomato photo, guess it went the way of the garden...So here's another type of fruit that I also didn't grow :)
