Beautiful Lorraine. The sphere almost looks like the earth and it was sure an incredible sky the night you took this. Great pp work.

@Marion: Thanks very much, and you've it the nail on the head, I spherized it through Photoshop and made the sky a little deeper :)

It does resemble the globe, the blue looks like the oceans. I think all photographers have a childhood fascination of clouds, this is like lying on your back and looking at the clouds, a fine creation.

Lorraine!!!! Soooooo cool!!!! I'm wondering, did you visualize this first and use some kind of techie lens or filter, or did this come out of creative, artistic playing around in photoshop later on?

@Viewfinder: You're too sweet, actually the original photo is very striking with a great sky and moody clouds and so, so blue, what I did in photoshop (as you probably know) is go to filter, use the distort and then spherized it lol ;)

@leslie: Thanks so much Leslie, easy as pie if you have the right photo processor, like Photoshop cs 2 or better yet cs3 (Idon't have that) once you open photoshop you get a photo, go to filter, then distort and then spherize, a lot of other cool options as well :)
