@tyan: I've given away hundreds of books and I always seem to have many anyway lol i have thousands of magazine and the place is well unbelievable! Mikey's my little acrobat, Sammi who'se on the floor is the shy gentle one and Kimmi is hiding somewhere ;)

You can tell the readers among us, Lorraine...the first thing I noted after seeing the lithe body of your beautiful cat was the orderly book shelf! I have such high hopes of keeping mine like that but I seem to have an internal message coded in my psyche that all flat surfaces must be covered with something! lol
Loved the contrast you used with the b&w...really made the cat stand out.

I love it! Hilarious capture. I laugh first wondering how he got up there and the balance he has. He hangs onto that door jamb like he is pullling it over to get that spider.
There is another black cat looking on probably thinking why go through all that trouble.
I adore black cats and had my dear Nicta for 16 years. Nicta means night in Greek. Knowing how much I missed him, Nicta sent me Katie the tuxedo cat who suddenly appeared in my yard one day.
It would be wonderful to see more of your cats. Of course I am assuming they are yours.

@Barbara: Ins't he wonderful, he's my youngest lol and only male, I have 3 cats, Mikey here is very athletic, but you can bet the first time he jumped up and then starting stretching towards that doorway, I was under him quick as a bullet, afraid he'd fall, but no, when he was done he kind of stepped back, I don't know how he managed anyhoo, Sammi's the one on the floor and she's very gentle. Kimmi I believe you've met in aprevious photo if note she's in my portfolio, and a real cutie, cehck her out...I can't imagine losing one of them, you must have been heartbroken, but then she send you someone else to care for, cats are very spiritual you know....thanks so much...I used to have a cat blog, I kid you not...I had 2 steady visitors...
