Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanInspired use of the selective colours.....but I wonder, WHO is having the fun here? 9 Aug 2008 5:21am @Japanalia: Gabriela, me I laughed quietly, but the laugh was on me, when I got closer and realize he was holding a toddler lol ;) Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaI don't know how you do it, because it isn't something that I have mastered yet, but what a delightful use of selective colors. A very fun shot Lorraine. Kudos!! 9 Aug 2008 5:24am @Marion: Thanks so much sweet Marion, it's so easy. Download Picassa2, it'll gather all your photos into one spot no matter where you've put them. You go to option 'Focal Black and white' then you click on the spot that you want to keep in colour, if you find the area too large, then you can save the focal b&w and do it again ;) Barbara from Florida, United StatesGreat composition here Lorraine and I love the selective coloring. It looks like a relaxing moment. 9 Aug 2008 5:29am @Barbara: He and the toddler he was holding ;) were having a ball lol thanks so much marianne from Toulouse, from France, Francede très jolies couleurs acidulée, une photo très relaxante, j'entends le bruit des vagues ... 9 Aug 2008 6:21am @marianne: Merci beaucoup Marianne :) Behrooz Sangani from Tehran, IranSelective color works nice here. Fantastic work using selective color. This is a technique I don't know well but want to learn. :) 9 Aug 2008 3:36pm @Rui: Hi Rui, it's very easy, download Picassa2, it's free, the program will take the photos you have and bring it in one place (without erasing the photo from its initial place) in options you select, focal black and white. All you have to do is click on the portion of the photo you want to keep in colour and it throws the rest in black and white ;) Try it, it's worth it :) Michael Rawluk from Williams Lake, CanadaIt looks like he really wants to go play. Very cool shot. 9 Aug 2008 4:42pm @Michael Rawluk: Thanks a lot Michael, it was even cooler when I noticed the child on his lap ;) MJ from Delaware, United StatesGreat selective color...
