Isolating the color of the cup really makes this shot great.

Another good one Lorraine. I like the cofes's creamy color, contrasting with the rest BW scene. The camera adds the extra for the beginning of a new journey.
So please, it's an expresso for the table on the corner! :)

Wow, i like the technique. How do you process a photo to get such effect? I mean part is colorful, aprt in B&W.

@Mokart: Thanks a lot Mokart, it's very easy, first download Picasa2 (it's free) then it gathers all the photos you have all over your computer into on place, and you get tons of options, this one is call Focal Black and White, all you need to do is click at the part you want to keep in colour and the rest is thrown in b&W,,you can also throw shadows, softening, saturate, straighten, sharpen, all kinds of goodies and it's free, I use it even more than Photoshop :)

After your comment on the mill I found I wasn't fair enough with this pictures of yours. I said "Oh yess" and that was emotion. If I must be rational then I think this is a very STRONG picture: nothing is in doubt and it says perfectly what it's meant to say, and what every photofreak feels. One of your best, if I'm honest!

La tasse de cafe juste en couleurs avec le reste en NB marche tres bien. La composition est tres bonne aussi avec la lumiere sur le sol qui fait une diagonale avec la tasse et l'orientation de l'anse qui est tres bien choisie.
