Eeeeeek! Signs of Fall. We here on the Central Coast don't "DO" Fall, reminds one of that dirty word, what is it? Oh yes, WINTER. We definitely don't do WINTER. That's for those other people :)

No amount of denial will stop the changing of the seasons. This is a beautiful example of the momentum of changing leaves; I'd imagine if you took the same shot in another week or so, the colors would be even more vivid. Bravo, Lorraine.

@Richard_Irwin: Hey Richard, in a month it'll snow lol Actually we have 4 seasons, but within each are also seasons ...right now in early Oct, we have beautiful Maple trees in full glorious red orange bloom, we have leaves that have fallen and carpeted every grass gold and red, then we have trees that are still green, and others that have no leaves...Thanks so much :)

@marianne: seulement moi et les écureuils se promenaient hier lol, l'automne, c'est ma saison, parmis nos 4, ils y a des étapes tu sais, des arbres pourpres et d'autre verts, des feuilles qui dansent au gré du vent, d'autres qui jouent à cache et d'autres encore qui restent vertes et ne veulent pas bouger...On a plein de vagues dans nos saisons, j'adore mon pays, merci beaucoup ma petite tête de feu ;)
