Excellent capture of the remarkable view. I love the steam coming off of the water. It looks like a wood deck in the disatance to view the scenery. With places like this I would never be without my camera.

@tyan: NOpe, not even close, sigh...unfortunately, it's a least 20 minutes in the woods and although I wanted to take so many more, well I chickened out a bit, 'cause well there was a man parked there in a running car, and well, we were the only 2 human beins away from civilization and he was just there and there's no view where he was, he was just there in front of nothing, so I stayed only a few minutes to take a few photo, 'casue there's no way I was leaving without getting a few really good ones, but you know, man, in car...sigh

I'd love to be there right now also ... what beauty surrounds you. The steam (or mist) coming off the water and the beautiful color reflected all compliment the gorgeously turning leaves.

Lovely fall image Lorraine. It is interesting when the water is warmer than the air and you get that "smoke." It only happens this time of year as winter approached. Nice capture.

je sais, Lorraine, je mélange les mots, mais c'est ainsi que je vibre aux tons de ta chère contrée ...
les reflets sont doux, comme une invitation à se fondre dans ce coton transparent ...

A stunning scene and really well captured mist(?)! Love your shots as always.... But... I don't think I'll have the opportunity to capture Autumn scenes this year... By the time my exams end the nice scenes will give way to bleak winters... But I suppose winter has it's beauty too ^^
