I'm doing some major talking to the Big Guy up there, He Owes me, yes I've said it, He KNOWS I can be very impudent! ;) take care babe... @Alun Lambert: Thanks a lot Alun, the neatness of the arrangement attracted me :) Jasp from Plymouth, United KingdomOK ... the photo first... fascinating ...an empty bar... so many stories there and so evocative because there is no-one there. Now I have never seen Grey's Anatomy but reading your blog it seems like a great way to meet people ! :-) and it appears you have not lost you touch as that is a genuine smile on that guy's face :-) And on a medical theme... I happened to watch the first episode of House thinking "oh no not yet another medial drama" and was instantly hooked... probably because of the perverse joy of seeing how badly he treats his staff (and the fact he is a Brit pretending to be American makes it even more fun !). Is there a subtle rivalry between Grey's and House fans do you think ? and finally... on a recent word blog post of yours does this mean a belated Happy Birthday is in order ? 6 Nov 2008 9:03pm @Jasp: Hey Rich, ok first mmm, thanks...and no I don't go out to meet people...I guarantee it ;) Read my blog today If you're curious, AND I love HOUSE, I have those DVDs too, he's an ass, but brilliant and he gives drugs generously, you have to admire that in a doctor..birthday? we'll no, but I be 50 April 21! YAY ME, freakin' half decade, wicked (my new favourite word after 'stuff') @MJ: Thanks a lot Mj, I'd love to see it, the morning after lol bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaI like how the reflections or perhaps it's dried water that has left a residue, makes it seem there is a presence around the chairs. It kind of reminds me of something I'd see when watching The Shining. 6 Nov 2008 9:37pm @bluechameleon: Wow spook-a-boo, I like that Blue, even your comments are moody and fun, how impressive are you!!! The Shining, now that was spooky :) Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaAll the chairs lined up waiting for varying sized bottoms. I'm not sure where that came from. :) Great shot Lorraine. 6 Nov 2008 10:12pm @Marion: From the bottom (lol) of your very imaginative and creative mind dear girl...lol Love it, thanks so much ;) Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceC'est marrant cet alignement de chaises qui attendent sagement que des "popotins" (un mot argot français pour dire fessier... :-) viennent se poser sur elles. On ressent presque leur ennui en attendant l'heure de pointe... 6 Nov 2008 10:19pm @Evelyne Dubos: 'popotins' sérieusement? lol j'adore, des p'tits popotins ici là, merci ma chère, c'est incroyable comme mon français canadien s'est amélioré depuis que je suis visitée par toi et tous les autres, hum (soupir: vrais français- en parlant du parlé ;) tu comprends hein) et toutes mes excuses pour mes visiteurs de Granby (vous parlez beaucoup mieux que moi) MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomAll looks quiet on the western front, then the mad rush, and all that is organised gets disorganised :) I don't think I've ever seen so many chairs at a bar before. Quiet - soon to be broken by endless conversations mixed with the clacking of ice and glass. 7 Nov 2008 4:11am @Stephen Phillips: OOO I like that comment Stephen sounds like a great beginning to a novel: 'It was raining outside so I walked in AND COULD SMELL THE FAINT ODOR OF BOOZE MIXED WITH THE DISINFECTANT FROM THE SWAMPER'S WORK OVERNIGH. QUIET-SOON TO BE BROKEN BY ENDLESS CONVERSATIONS MIXED WITH THE CLACKING OF ICE AND GLASS.....Then she walked in Stunner from Kingston, JamaicaNice shot of this bar!
