Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomBrilliant...! this is the type of shot I like. It has depth, lot's of street furniture.... great ! 13 Nov 2008 5:09am @Observing: Glad you enjoyed Mike :) thanks alot! dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaGreat! That black coat really makes a statement! 13 Nov 2008 6:19am @dobbino: Thanks a lot rob, the coat did it for me too :) standley from Carquefou, FranceMagnifique enchevêtrement urbain. La dame au manteau noir jette un mystère! J'aime beaucoup. 13 Nov 2008 6:26am @standley: Merci beaucoup Richard ;) @Zygene: Merci beaucoup Fabrice :) Nina from Hamburg, GermanyReally an interesting photo, the b/w tones are beautiful... also the long coat in the foreground! :) 13 Nov 2008 6:48am @Nina: I have no idea why this attracted me so...thanks alot :) Linerberry from Sumner, Christchurch, New ZealandYou're right...there is something about this!!! Who is that mysterious character swooping across the image? Very cool!!! 13 Nov 2008 7:36am @Linerberry: Iknow...just don't know what...and swooping, yeah that's a good word ;) Thanks so much Berry! arlene from United StatesThat amount of signage would drive me nuts if I was driving there. That's the first thing I think of. The second thing comes because I just checked out your response to my second comment about the beautiful church with the golden leaves a couple of days ago. I'd thought that the evergreen was a nun. Seeing the woman in this photo, I want to write that that's a nice evergreen by the signs. This is an interesting picture, more so the more I look at it, almost claustrophobic to the right, open road to the left. 13 Nov 2008 7:47am @arlene: I think probably a good interpretation of me lol thanks always Arlene :) I enjoy your comments! DaveB from Exeter, United KingdomThis ones a bit too busy for me, too many lines going in all directions! Must be a nightmare to drive around! 13 Nov 2008 8:53am @DaveB: Yeah, I still don't know why I like it so much, thanks Dave :) Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomI am so glad my UK signage and utilities are heavily controlled when I see this forest of steel and plastic joyfully pressing forward. But what a darkly intriguing figure that is striding across the shot . . and not an evergreen in sight ! 13 Nov 2008 10:05am @Ronnie 2¢: I know I'm bewildered, don't know why it appeals to me so much, except for the lady in the coat, I like that part ;) Betty from New Jersey, United StatesWonderful composition, Lorraine! That dark figure certainly sparks the imagination! 13 Nov 2008 10:35am @Betty: It's my favourite part of the photo ;) thanks a lot Betty!
