I got an instant wave of empathy seeing this photo, imagining what this woman is feeling. Again, not seeing a person's face can reveal so much in a photo. Maybe it even elicits a connection that a face shot might diminish..

@arlene: I agree, nothing fascinates me more than photographing people, and their lives whle leaving them their anonymity (if they so desire) it's really my favourite type of photography, but there can be such intimacy that I shy away from it, preferring to keep my distance...and respect theirs
