I remember how difficult it used to be, back in Romania, to make my way through the huge mass of snow! That was in the fifties......and the snow was aplenty even in a big town like Bucharest. They were not using that much salt in those days.
I like the moment you captured here as it makes me dig through my memories.

Délicieuse image, Lorraine. Les trois enfants vont à l'école essayant de ne pas glisser. Très belle lumière de matin et une composition parfaite. J'aime beaucoup.

What a fabulous moment you captured. It takes me back to the 40's, but way back then we didn't carry backpacks or plastic bags. Large brown grocery bags was the best we had. <grin>

Little people, cute as can be making their way down the walk. Today's children carry a heavy load in addition to all of their winter wear. I really enjoy this capture Lorraine. I think it gives us all a little flashback to childhood.

I love this shot, Lorraine! Cute kids all bundled up.
You'd probably see me looking down, too. It's a chilly 2 (F) with snow on the ground. The sidewalks are icy and one must really pay close attention to where one is stepping! I can't tell you how many times I've caught myself slipping on ice and nearly falling flat on my back!

WELL, for some reason I can't answer comments oh well, let me just say that these little cuties are coming BACK from school, so either they had a bad day, or they're very tired of the snow...'cause usually these little munchkins play in the snow...not my kids by the way, mine is 21 years old ;) lol
