I love the combination of the old (the effect of the winter and age on the woodwork and paintwork) contrasting with the new and freshness of the Spring flowers. Just beautiful.

I love what you did in this photo! The bright colors against the gray and white...the scuffed surface of the steps against the fresh newness of the flowers and leaves...the plant offset to the right offering just the right balance to be pleasing to the eye. I'm no artist, but I know what I like!

I see a Greeting Card. It has "Lorraine's Greetings" all over it.
Perfect composition, colors and charm. The flowers go beautifully against the grey and white steps.

I like the tight, but open feel to this shot Lorraine. Sitting there on these weathered steps, you left only the steps and the blooming flowerpot for us to see. So there's much left to the imagination as to what the rest of the house or building might look like. Nice work.

Très douces couleurs pour ce pétunia !!! je ne peux pas en mettre sur mon balcon, ils brûlent tous, car il fait 50° au mois d'août ........... ne pas oublier de "pincer" les fleurs fânées, sinon la plante souffre ... je m'assoie volontiers à côté du vase, tu nous apporte un café ??? merciiiiiiiiiii lol bisous lorraine !

Wonderful shot, Rainy! The crumbling paint on those stairs really gives the background character. I'm glad spring has finally arrived!!
