Witness Jehovah

I take photos. I get in trouble. Why? 'cause people then when to talk to me, and well I'm a hermit. Truly. So I've re-opened all my old blogs about 10 of them, 'cause although there are photos, it's also about writing. Writing is the only thing that keeps me out of trouble. If you want to help me stay away from trouble, visit one of my blogs instead. ;) or I should say ALSO lol
I've put names of blogs in my 'ABOUT' page, sorry no links, 'cause I'm NOT html savvy :)

I just break into a sweat anytime a stranger comes to my door! I know they mean well, but...

I like the texture of the stones on the house. It really pops in black and white.

I've met lots of these people too,i remember one lady told me before,'You are sincere,but too bad you are heading the wrong way.'Its a thin line between wanting to tell others the good news and trying to shove it down people's throat.

@tyan: I agree, Let's face it Jesus went on top of mountain or little molehills and talked and those who wanted to listen to Him, went....Jesus didn't knock on doors unless he was specifically invited...and I think that Ann Landers would have approved ;)

When the Jehovah Witnesses knock I tell them i'm a Pagan..It stops them dead in their tracks and you can close the door quietly and leave them to ponder..

Pas évident le porte à porte pour diffuser ses idées. Les leurs ne sont pas les miennes mais je reconnais qu'ils ont beaucoup foi en leur religion et de courage pour essayer de convaincre et pour trouver de nouveaux disciples. Les portes restent souvent closes...

That's what 300mm lenses are for. Do you have one? I highly recommend that you buy a really long lens, so you can do your candid photography by sneak attack.

I'm taking a half-hearted blogging break, but I'll be back to visit your writing blogs when things normalize and I manage to swim out of my annual pit of despair. We need some major yardwork done and my husband is being difficult. It's making our house so dark and dreary that I can barely function. We need to TALK!!!!!

@Bookfool: I have an answer to that problem Booky, open a blog. I mean it, record your progress one day at a time with photos and let out all your aggravations, I'll visit. And you'll thank me when you don't end up in jail for beating up hubby...trust me on this :)

It's nice that the hermit goes out the door once in awhile, to capture some socially potent images in mysterious Gat. These people behave like door to door salesmen who sell vacuum cleaners.

Catch up time. = ) Excellent capture Lorraine. At first glance, I thought I saw someone peeking through the curtains.. hiding. lol I struggle taking photos of people because I feel I'm invading their privacy. Any tips on how to get around that? ;)

@Organik Mum: After many talks with them about the fact that I like my alone time with God, that didn't seem to penetrate, I decided to just go to the window 'cause I'm not rude, smile and wave and go back to what I was doing, they understood that!
