Lorraine, what happened? Instead of flowers and lovely creatures you photographed scrap? Well, may be not, you photographed the end of noise. :). BTW, a good graphic effect.

@António Pires: Oh NO Antonio, not the end of noise, but the reason for the noise, and I'm glad for the noise, 'cause these things carry our water...now what I mean!!!

This is a great shot; a lovely document of urban life. Rust and texture and a great picture from nothing-in-particular...everything good with a picture. (You did it once with a tyre too, I recall!) Hope it does mean you get more peace now! By the way, I have ordered Liners to sit down today and upload some of her pics...but she was still in holiday mode (ie asleep) when I left for work today...so we'll see..

Did they convey water to you or did they take "stuff" away? I would say good riddance to whatever they did. Great picture of rust and decay.

Shapes, angles, light, shadows and textures, you captured it all. This makes for an interesting shot of these pipes tossed together like sticks.
A reminder that water has a long way to travel before we turn on the tap, leaving sediment along the way. I assume your water will taste different, but what will it do to the coffee??
That is the big guestion here.

@Lee: Let's just say that after viewing these rusted things I've realized that this was not just a 'make work project' it really needed it and as such I made peace with the noise, although it's not half as bad as last summer when the work was in front of my house...it was hell! thanks for your 'back' comments, they are appreciated :)
