Barbara from Florida, United StatesThey look like nice teens but this is when a parent says, just two years ago they looked completely different. We all went through it, the dress the hair. Your title and image are their first album cover. Great shot, Lorraine. 30 Jul 2009 5:24am @Barbara: Wonderful comment Barb, yes I remember my son's days lol thanks a lot! dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaIt's very special to find four photogenic people in one stop - and have them happy to be photographed! This is great! 30 Jul 2009 7:05am @dobbino: Really, I got lucky thanks very much Rob :) @Hans: Thanks very much Hans, coming from the master portrayer, it's a wonderful compliment ;) Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceQuel sacré look ils ont !! What did you say to make them smile? 30 Jul 2009 10:56am @grouser: The first photo, they weren't happy, but after I told them I just liked their style they smiled (well most of them) and accepted that I take their photos lol Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, CanadaA nice street capture Lorraine! I would love to see a group picture of them in 25 years.... ;-)))) 30 Jul 2009 11:55am @Eric Cousineau: Wouldn't that be something, but what are the odds, I don't know them at all lol ;) thanks a lot Eric ! They are so generous and kind in regard to these kids. My younger daughter...mother, professor, and good person...has a huge pink streak in her hair that is her signature look in her work. It makes her instantly identifiable as she travels all over the world to lecture. Who knows what is in store for these kids? They may be future multi-millionaires! 30 Jul 2009 1:19pm @KathyCalculates: Well I have the greatest visitors, present company included, don't you know lol you gotta love when people follow their style thanks sweetie :) Claudia from Illinois, United StatesOh, Lorraine...you made these kids' day when you took a photo of them!! To dress like that..well, you always wanted to be noticed even if you pretended you didn't. :) This works perfectly in black and white and brings back such memories of my highschool days in the very early 80's. And the girl on the far left..I love her boots! :) 30 Jul 2009 2:14pm @Claudia: Such a grand compliment, thank you dear girl, bet you'd look smashing in those boots :) Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United StatesI can't add a thing to this comment-fest, except to agree with all who have posted. You caught these four in a moment of time which now becomes timeless. Their energy, good humor, sense of style, posing postures, and the skateboard will forever define them -- favorably, IMO. 30 Jul 2009 2:35pm @Viewfinder: I like that, thanks so much Glenn :) LESLIE from norwich, United KingdomGreat street shot Lorraine - just love there individual style so well presented in B & W. 30 Jul 2009 3:38pm @LESLIE: Aren't they wonderful, love their looks lol thanks a lot Les ;) tyan from Singapore, Singaporeyeah they look like the hard core on the outside but really warm and friendly inside.Reminds me of my students when i was teaching:) 30 Jul 2009 3:43pm @tyan: You know your stuff, thanks very much Tyan :) @john4jack: Thanks alot Jack, glad you enjoyed ;) @Dimitrios: Oooo neat Dimitrios, sounds like a good title ;) thanks a lot! Sorry, just couldn't resist it, Lorraine! xx 30 Jul 2009 6:10pm @Judy: lol you can say anything sweet lady :) ACtually the first look the gave me was quite dark, the second was better, I have a way lol @Thea: Thanks a lot Thea and thanks for the visit :) k@ from Francej'adore le p'tit rusé à droite, son pied sur la planche et son regard qui en dit long (ouh, tu lui plais, tu lui plais !! :)) 30 Jul 2009 8:25pm @k@: lol merci Karine, je l'ai trouvé bien modeste et chic, lorsqu'il a reculé pour me laisser prendre la photo, je lui ais dits, 'non, non je te veux dans la photo' je pense qu'il était plus surpris qu'autre chose ;) Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesMy first thought: Is it Halloween? 30 Jul 2009 9:43pm @Craig: Vive la différence indeed...thanks a lot Craig :) Bookfool from Mississippi, United StatesI agree with Barbara -- looks like an album cover. Love it! 31 Jul 2009 12:07am @Bookfool: Thanks a lot Booky ;) great compliment! Nina from Hamburg, GermanyThey are so different in their personally expression despite their similar outfit... each bring its own style with it - trendy, cool or sporty... an very interesting photo and a very good title :) 31 Jul 2009 12:38am @Nina: what an exceptional comment Nina, thank you very much! JoeB from Brampton, CanadaHave to repeat what's been said they do seem like a happy bunch. Did you have your leather jacket on as leader of the pack. :D 31 Jul 2009 12:43am @JoeB: That's so cool, I love leather, but Alas NO, I would look ridiculous in it now, older, greying overweight...mmm let me think, mmm then again, I've baffled people before....Hey thanks for the thought Joe arlene from United StatesThe only one of the three who doesn't look happy is the one not wearing a costume.
