Nicely captured. I'm not entirely sure what it's got on the end of its beak but I'm sure it's of no nutritional value!

That's one strong big bird, I wonder if the capture is enough (?) It looks to me like a 5 yen coin! The water has beautiful patterns on it!

I just looked at the big picture again and he looks like he may have something wrapped around his poor beak! Poor guy!

@KathyCalculates: no, I thought it was a worm, but I'm not sure anymore, I know though that's it's not around his beak, 'cause I zoomed in real close and he has a natural streak of brown on his beak, not anything around it.... he swooped for something though you'll see it tomorrow ;)

@Marion: He's a beauty, this is the Outaouais River or Ottawa river, it borders Gatineau, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario...

@Bookfool: Well Booky I can't say for sure that it's a worm, but I can assure you that nothing is around is beak, it may look like that because of the brown streak across his beak (natural)
